Most of those puppies are growing up in big new-estate yards, with school-aged kids, and a routine that involves a lot of stimulation and not always a lot of structure.

That's exactly the situation where good early training pays the biggest dividends. The puppy you raise carefully now becomes the dog who can handle a busy family life for the next fifteen years.

What our puppy school covers

A four-week structured program for puppies 8 to 16 weeks old. Classes run from our Lake Illawarra academy, easily reached from anywhere in Albion Park.

What you'll learn together:

• Calm and settle work. Most important skill for a busy family household.
• Foundation cues: sit, drop, recall, leash basics.
• Structured socialisation with other puppies in a controlled environment.
• Toileting, crate training, and consistent night-time routines.
• How to read your puppy's body language so you can manage household dynamics.

What we commonly hear from Albion Park puppy parents

"The kids and the puppy are winding each other up." Universal. We coach the whole family on the household rules, not just the dog.
