The Puppy Guide, online

A real trainer in your corner from day one.

The needle teeth. The wee on the floor ten minutes after they were outside. The crying at three in the morning. None of it means you are doing it wrong, and none of it needs another hour of conflicting advice online. The Puppy Guide is ten short lessons for your first weeks together, with a head trainer who answers your questions and a pack of owners going through exactly the same week as you. It is included in the Online Dog Training Academy, and it leads straight into Scout, the first level.

Sound familiar?

Almost none of it is naughty

Puppies bite, wee indoors, chew the furniture and lose their minds at seven at night. It is all normal, and all of it has a reason. Nobody ever taught you how to read it, and the internet gave you ten different answers. The Puppy Guide gives you one.

๐Ÿฆท

The biting

Needle teeth in your hands, your sleeves and the kids. Why puppies bite, and how to guide it instead of fighting it.

๐Ÿ

The accidents

Wee on the floor ten minutes after they were outside. The key toilet times, the right spot, and a crate your puppy chooses.

๐Ÿ˜ด

Three in the morning

Crying in the crate and nobody in the house sleeping. Why rest matters this much, and how to build a night that works.

๐Ÿ’ฌ

Doing it alone

Ten websites, ten different answers. Ask your head trainer and a pack of owners in exactly the same week as you.

Questions

Good to know

Is my puppy normal?

Almost certainly. Biting, chewing, wild evening zoomies, accidents indoors and crying when left alone are all normal puppy behaviour, not bad behaviour. The guide shows you what each one means and what to do, so you stop guessing.

What age is the Puppy Guide for?

It's built for the first weeks after your puppy comes home. If your puppy is a little older, it's still a great place to start before Scout, the first level.

When can I start?

The Puppy Guide starts the day you bring your puppy home. New members join together at an onboarding call every week, so you land with a group of owners starting at the same time as you.

Is it included in the Academy?

Yes. The Puppy Guide comes with your Online Dog Training Academy membership at $89 a week, along with your pack, head trainer, four live sessions a week and all five Academy levels.

My puppy hasn't finished their vaccinations. Can we start?

Yes. Most of the Puppy Guide happens at home. Check with your vet before taking your puppy to public places or meeting unfamiliar dogs.

Do I have to post videos?

You'll get the most out of it if you do, but nobody expects perfect. The community is full of first wobbly videos with a pack cheering underneath.

How do I cancel?

No lock-in contract. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice, and your final 30 days are paid as normal.

Start your puppy right

Book a free call and we will be honest about whether the Academy is the right fit for you and your puppy. Or join today and start the Puppy Guide with your pack this week.

Start here

Book a free call. Fifteen minutes.

Tell us about your puppy and what is happening at home. We will walk you through the Puppy Guide and the Academy, and tell you honestly what we would do first.

No cost. No obligation.

  • It is not a sales call. Some people join the Academy, some do not. Both are fine.
  • You do not have to decide anything on the call.
  • You will speak to a real Walkys trainer, not a call centre.
  • Bring your questions. First-time puppy owners ask us all of them.
