Walkys Online Dog Training Academy
You dreamed of a great dog. She is still in there.
The jumping. The knocking over. The food taken straight out of little hands. None of it makes her a bad dog, and none of it means you have done something wrong. At one or two she is a teenager who has never been shown the calm version. You may have paid a trainer already and watched her behave beautifully in the class and no differently at home. The Academy is different: a head trainer who knows your dog, four live sessions every week, and people working on exactly the same thing you are. You still do the reps. You just stop doing them alone.

Sound familiar?
If any of this is your week.
Most owners who find us have already paid someone once. There is nothing wrong with you, and there is nothing wrong with your dog.
- She jumps on the grandkids and knocks the little ones over.
- Food gets taken straight out of small hands.
- She ends up shut in the laundry when family visit, and you feel awful about it.
- Walks are a tug of war, and every other dog sets her off.
- She comes back when she feels like it, and not when it matters.
- You paid a trainer once. She was brilliant in the class and no different at home.
It is not your fault
She is not being naughty. She has never been shown the calm version.
Jumping up is how a young dog says hello. Taking food is how she learns what is worth having. Pulling is what happens when the whole world is more interesting than you are. None of it is defiance, and at one or two none of it is set. What is missing is not effort and it is not love. It is someone who can see what happens in your kitchen on a Sunday and tell you exactly what to do instead, this week, with this dog.
No judgement. Just a plan.
The heart of the Academy
The people are what make it work
Training a dog on your own is hard to stick with. Inside the Academy, someone is always in your corner: your head trainer, your pack, and a community that has been exactly where you are.

Maria's first post
“I'm a team player and this is what helped me to post this.”
Maria nearly didn't post her first training video. “This is so far from my comfort zone,” she wrote. Within days she had 33 comments from her pack, her head trainer and members from the other pack. A month on, she's one of the most active members in our community.

Your own pack
You're placed in a pack with a head trainer and packmates who get to know you and your dog.
Weekly check-ins
Live pack check-ins and live coaching calls every week, so there's always a next conversation on the calendar.
Ongoing chats
Group chats with the people at your level, plus comments on every post. Ask anything, any time.
Every win counts
Share a win, however small, and people who understand it will cheer. This is where the friendships start.
This is a normal week in our feed
Real comment threads from inside the Academy. Nobody's paid to cheer. This is just what happens when you post a rep.

Real members, real wins
Straight from our community feed
Real posts from Walkys members. Every week they film their reps, post them and get feedback from their pack and head trainer.

What you work on together
A clear plan your whole pack follows
The community keeps you going. The levels give everyone the same path, so your packmates know exactly where you are up to and how to help.
1
Join and meet your pack
New members start together at a weekly onboarding call. You are welcomed in, set up, and placed in your pack with your head trainer.
2
Work through the levels
Scout, Tracker, Ranger, Guardian, Lead Dog. Short video lessons, one clear skill at a time, at your own pace.
3
Film your practice
Share it with your pack. A rep is just one go at the skill you are working on, and a short video is how your head trainer passes you.
4
Check in every week
Live coaching, pack check-ins and a group chat for your level, so you're never stuck on your own.

Short, clear video lessons
Each skill has its own short lesson, like Crate Calm, Place and Engagement, with a demo video and why it matters.

A live call every weekday
Four of them are yours each week: your tier call, Technical Training, the all-channel call with Nath and Matt, and the open Q&A. All in the calendar so you never miss one.

Everything in one place
The Puppy Guide and all five levels, Scout to Lead Dog, sit in one classroom with your progress tracked as you go.
The five levels
Scout to Lead Dog, with the same people beside you
You and your dog work through five levels together. You move up when your dog is ready, not on a timetable, and the friends you make on the way are the reason most people stay.
Scout
Foundations. Trust, engagement and calm body control, through to the first loose lead walks.Tracker
Out into the world. Walking past other dogs, settling in new places, and recall on a long line.Ranger
Reliability and neutrality. Voluntary check-ins, a settle you can trust in public, and your own decisions under distraction.Guardian
Calm in public. Calm that lasts and recovers, wait and leave it on the move, real walks in real places.Lead Dog
Real world proofing. The unexpected handled, work at a distance, and graduation. Each level is a handful of short lessons. Nobody is racing, and your pack moves with you.
Join the Academy
One system. One price.
Every member works through the same five levels. Your pack, your head trainer and the weekly live sessions come with it.
What you work through

- Guardian · Calm in public
- Lead Dog · Real world proofing
Dogs of 16 weeks and older start at Scout. Younger puppies start in the Puppy Guide, which is included. Dogs who are shut down or very stressed start with Safety and Decompression first, so nothing is asked of them too early.

Questions
Good to know
She was brilliant in the class and no different at home. Why would this be any different?
Because this happens in your house, not in a hall. You film what is actually going on, your head trainer watches your dog in your kitchen with your family around, and tells you what to change. A class teaches a dog to behave in a class. This teaches you to get the same dog at home, which is the only place it counts.
I am worried she will hurt one of the grandchildren.
Tell us that on the call. Most of the time we are looking at an over-excited young dog who has never been shown a calmer way, and we will show you how to set the room up so visits are easy from the first week. If we think you need hands-on help before anything else, we will say so.
She is already one or two. Have we left it too late?
No. One to two is adolescence, not finished. Most of our members start exactly there, with a dog who was easy as a puppy and has turned into a lot of dog. It is a very normal age to need help, and a very good age to change things.
Can I join from anywhere in Australia?
Yes. Everything runs online, so your pack can be spread right across the country. All you need is your dog, a phone to film your reps and a bit of time each week. Live sessions run on Microsoft Teams.
When can I start?
New members start together at an onboarding call every week, so you land with a group of people starting at the same time as you. Whether you are starting with a new puppy or from where your dog is at now, it is the same $89 a week.
I am nervous about posting videos. Do I have to?
You will film your practice to pass each level, but nobody expects perfect. Plenty of members felt exactly the same at the start, and the feed is full of first wobbly videos with a pack cheering underneath. Your packmates are there to back you, not judge you.
I am not good with technology. Will I cope?
Yes. If you can watch a video and send one from your phone, you can do this. The live sessions run on Microsoft Teams and we set you up on your first call, so you are never left working it out alone.
How much time does it take?
Short sessions most days work best, ten or fifteen minutes. Each level breaks into small skills and you move at your own pace, so a busy week does not set you back.
How do the assessments work?
When you are ready to move up, you film your dog doing the skill and post it. Your head trainer watches it and either passes you or tells you exactly what to change.
Can I try it free first?
There is no free trial, but the call is free and there is no obligation. We will tell you honestly whether the Academy is right for you and your dog.
How do I cancel?
No lock-in contract. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice, and your final 30 days are paid as normal. There is no free trial and no founding discount.
My dog has big behaviour problems. Is online right for us?
Many owners in our community started with reactivity, pulling and over-excitement. If you're unsure, book a call and we'll be honest about whether the Academy, a Breakthrough Lesson or in-person help is the best fit.
Your pack is waiting
Book a free call and tell us what happens when the family comes over. We will be honest about whether the Academy is the right fit for you and your dog. Or join today and meet your pack this week.
Start here
Book a free call. Fifteen minutes.
Tell us what is happening at home. We will walk you through the Academy and the other options, and tell you honestly what we would do first.
No cost. No obligation.
- It is not a sales call. Some people join the Academy, some do not. Both are fine.
- You do not have to decide anything on the call.
- You will speak to a real Walkys trainer, not a call centre.
- Not sure what to ask? Most people are not. We will guide it.
