The window closes fast
Your puppy is learning right now โ whether you are teaching or not.
From chewing your shoes to pulling on the lead, puppies are sponges. Every day they are building habits โ some you will love, some you will hate. Without the right guidance early, the problem ones stick, and they are much harder to undo later.
You want a dog who is calm at home, easy in public and a joy to live with. That is the whole point of Puppy School.
Sound familiar?
Ignores you completely the moment you call their name
Jumps on guests, bites hands, chews everything in sight
Pulls on the lead, or is distracted by absolutely everything
Bursts of uncontrollable zoomies that leave you exhausted
Every puppy owner faces this. None of it means you have a bad puppy.
How it runs
Four evenings. Then a whole day.
The classes teach you what to do. The academy day is where your puppy does it for hours instead of minutes, with our trainers, without you having to hold it together at home.
Week 1
Names, marker, and the first real recall. 45 minutes, 6:15pm.
Week 2
Sit, down, stay, and the lead. 45 minutes, 6:15pm.
Week 3
Impulse control, doors, guests, mouthing. 45 minutes, 6:15pm.
Week 4
Socialisation and handling for grooming and vets. 45 minutes, 6:15pm.
Week 5 โ the academy day
Drop off in the morning, pick up in the evening. A whole day putting it into practice with our trainers.
Vaccination schedule must be complete before this day.
Start now, not in a month
You do not need vaccinations to start
The socialisation window is short and it is closing while you wait for a vet appointment. You can start Puppy School before the schedule is finished.
The one condition: the schedule has to be complete before the week five academy day.
If it is not done in time, your puppy simply takes their academy day with a later group once it is. Nothing is lost and there is nothing extra to pay.
The part worth reading twice
Week five is a full day at the academy. We do not charge you for it.
A day at the academy is a real training day with our trainers, not a play session. It sits inside the course fee rather than on top of it.

Outcomes most pups graduate with
By week five, your puppy willโฆ
Every puppy learns at their own pace. This is what you can realistically expect after five weeks.
Sit, lie down and come when called โ reliably enough to actually use in real life, not just in the lounge room.
Walk on a loose lead for short distances โ no more dragging you down the footpath. The foundation for proper heel work later.
Settle when visitors arrive โ no jumping, no mouthing, no zoomies at the door. People stay friends.
Sleep through the night โ most parents report their first full night's sleep within the first two weeks.
Recover quickly from new sounds, surfaces and people โ vacuums, doorbells, slippery floors, strangers in the park. The critical socialisation window, used properly.
Tolerate handling for grooming and vet visits โ paws, ears, mouth, all without a wrestle.
And the bigger win nobody talks about: you will know what to do when something new comes up.
The structure stays with you long after graduation day. That is the difference between a calm six-month-old and one who has already developed problems.
The syllabus
What you both walk out with
Recall that holds
Teach your puppy to come every time you call, not just when it suits them.
Loose lead walking
No more pulling. Calm, happy walks you actually look forward to.
Sit, down and stay
The essential obedience skills, taught so they hold under distraction.
Impulse control
Stop the jumping, the biting and the overexcitement at the source.
Toilet and crate
Toilet training that sticks, and a crate your puppy actually likes.
Play and socialisation
How to interact properly with other dogs and with people.

Is this the right class?
Yes, if
Your puppy is 8 to 15 weeks old when the course starts.
You want expert guidance from the very start, before habits set.
You are dealing with biting, jumping, pulling or not listening.
You can make a weeknight class and one full day in week five.
Vaccinations are still in progress โ that is fine, you can start.
Not this one, if
Your dog is over six months โ Juvenile Dog School is built for that stage.
Your puppy is between 15 weeks and six months โ call us, we will point you at the right one.
You want the puppy trained without you in the room. This one coaches you both.
You need one-on-one help right now โ private training will get there faster.
The earlier you start, the easier it gets.
Your puppy only gets one shot at this window. Five weeks now saves you a year of undoing later.
