Your dog is your baby. Let us help you enjoy him again.
You have paid trainers before. You have the harness, the treats, the book. And you still walk him at 6am so you do not meet anyone. This is not your fault, and it is not too late.

We hear this every week
He pulls you over. He lunges at every dog on the path. At home he barks at the front window until you close the blinds and give up on the afternoon. When people visit it is chaos, so they visit less, and the house gets quieter than you would like. You suspect it is something you did. You have probably been told so, by someone you paid.
It is not. A strong dog with big feelings needs someone to show him, calmly and patiently, that the world is not a fight. Most owners cannot do that alone, not because they are not capable, but because it is hard to teach calm when you are the one holding the lead and bracing for the next lunge. That is what we are for. And the dog you hoped for, the one who walks beside you to the beach and settles at the cafe, is still in there.
Three ways in. Brandon will tell you which one fits.

We come to you
The walk you have been avoiding, fixed on your own street. A trainer comes to your home anywhere between Thirroul and Gerringong, walks the route you actually walk, and works on the pull and the lunge where they happen. No car park full of other dogs to get through first.

Academy days in Unanderra or Shellharbour
Your dog spends the day with our trainers learning to walk calmly and settle, then comes home to you tired and calmer. Most owners do a day or two a week so the calm sticks between sessions with you.

A small evening class where the lunging dog is welcome
The trainers meet you outside first. The first ten minutes are about your dog settling, not performing. And you meet people from Corrimal to Oak Flats who have the same dog you do, which matters more than you would think.

Keri★★★★★"After trying 2 other training people that made my whole family anxious, Nathan and the trainers have been amazing with Brooke. Being a high energy dog, Brooke is now calm, has door manners, rides well in the car, crate trained, she walks great on the lead and she plays calmly with other dogs."
Kim★★★★★"Only two weeks in and we are seeing the results. Going to the vets our dog is reactive and can't be touched. To have his vaccinations they wanted him to be medicated so he would be less reactive. The team at Walkys have worked with our dog to help with this and he successfully had a full visit at the vets, not medicated, and had his vaccinations. At home he's calmer and even walks are getting easier."
Jennifer★★★★★"10 months ago I got myself a new spoodle pup & by the time she was 14 weeks old I was questioning my choices & feeling very overwhelmed, stressed often in tears & wondering how on earth I was going to manage with this rather challenging little pup. She had turned our lives into stressful chaos. I took her to Walkys puppy school & quickly learned how amazing these trainers were ... Maizie has learned so many valuable lessons with Walkys along the way & is continuing to learn to be a calm well adjusted & socialised pup."

What happens on the call
Fifteen minutes with Brandon, our head trainer. Tell him what your dog does on the lead and at the window, what you have tried, and what a good Saturday would look like. He listens first. Then he tells you, plainly, whether he can help and how, and which of the three doors he would start with for your dog. Most people say it is the first time a trainer listened.

Questions we get asked
I have paid trainers before and got nowhere. Why would this be different?
Because your dog does the work with us, every day he is here, and you are shown how to keep it going at your pace. And because the first four weeks are free to cancel, so the risk is ours.
He is reactive. Can he even come?
Yes. That is most of our dogs on day one. Tell Brandon on the call and we plan his arrival so nobody has a bad start.
I am not as strong as I was. Can I still do this?
Yes. Loose lead walking is about the dog's choices, not your grip. That is what we teach him.
